Harnessing Local Solutions & Youth Leadership

We believe in community-first, evidence-based approaches to sustainable development across communities

What We Do

We build healthy, resilient communities through climate-responsive healthcare, youth empowerment, research, and community-led development solutions.

Who We Support

We serve vulnerable communities, youth leaders, women, children and local organizations, focusing on climate-affected areas and underserved populations.

Why It Matters

Climate change disproportionately affects African communities especially women and children. Our integrated approach ensures sustainable development and resilience while preserving local cultures and ecosystems.

Our Thematic Area

Climate & Health Climate & Health

Climate and Health

Engaging the community through storytelling, advocacy, and capacity building of Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Health Care Workers (HCWs) to understand the link between climate change and health. Empowering them to utilize local knowledge for prediction, data collection, local innovations (e.g., waste management), resilient strategies, and research for evidence-based interventions.

Community Engagement Community Engagement

Community Engagement

Community empowerment through training, skills development, entrepreneurship, and digital skills among youths, educational initiatives in schools and universities, mental health awareness, health education, empowering women, and collaboration to address pressing public health challenges.

Health systems strengthening Health Systems

Health Systems Strengthening

We promote data-driven advocacy for better health for everyone everywhere. We support locally led research, use of community insights, data integration, and development of multisectoral collaboration frameworks such as communities of practice in health and development areas.

02

Community Action

We support community members through trainings, capacity building, awareness and mobilization and equipping community health workers to take action at community level.

03

Strategic Communication

We use different strategic approaches to communicate issues from communities, inform policy decisions and actions to promote knowledge sharing.
